Hi, I am new to the forum. I don't have any guinea pigs yet but I am thinking of adopting a few piggies in the near future. After spending a long time at different set ups I am confused on what to get for the piggies as I also have four cats. A C & C cage is out of question as I think my cats would put their paws through the holes. So I had thought about an hutch in our dinning room but hubby is not very keen. Anyone having any ideas? Vanessa

hi Nibbles and Holly, welcome to the friendly forum.ive a c ana c cage 2x6 with stand and lid.i have a 6 year old cat she does not attempt to put paws through, the holes are too small unless a kitten.also liberta 150 cage has sturdy cage top and is a big cage.so there are ways around this.also other members may be able to suggest other ideas.thanks Eileen.

Hi! I had the same problem at my place. We have 3 cats so safety first...
We live in Belgium and had a flat made by www.caviaflat.nl
It's completely catproof and i think it's so pretty.. Blends in with our furniture just perfectly
Maybe something for you as well?

Wow I love that! Does anyone know of anything like this being made in her UK?

Also @Katrien, just curious to know, when the doors are closed on the unit, how does the air circulate? Are there any ventilation holes in it?

I have a ferplast rabbit cottage for mine, pretty expensive but looks good in the living room! My cats gernerally ignore the guineas but I wouldn't trust them unsupervised!
