Catnip?

Strange title I know! In my local pet supply shop today they had some fantastic fluffy kitten tunnels for just £2.99 - perfect for keeping piggies warm and entertained! However, they are catnip scented. Would this be harmful for the piggies, or will it be ok?

I have no idea but I was wondering about this recently. Is cat nip a member of the mint family maybe? My piggies love mint so I was thinking of growing cat nip, I also have cats!
