I've just registered my piggies at the cat and rabbit clinic (super lucky that I live in Northampton) and have booked in for a check up for my new piggies to make sure they're okay but I didn't bother to ask a price, has anyone been there before and if so how much was it for the check up? Looking forward to seeing this vets that everyones crazy about!

Simon is great, you are very lucky :) I would also recommend you insure your piggies with Exotic Direct, I have spent over £3,000 in vet bills on one of mine that wasn't insured over her lifetime.

That's the plan, we got them on Saturday, booked in for a check up on Thursday then plan on getting the insurance once we've made sure they're okay/sexed properly/no existing conditions :)

I booked in without asking the price to be honest, heard lots of good things and I want the best for my piggies, if you could give me an estimate i'd appreciate it :)

They are usually quite reasonable I have found. On a par with my local vets and a bit less than the vets where I used to help at the piggy clinic.

Good thing I booked them in! One has a cold and one has what looks like conjunctivitis! Check up is Thursday so hopefully the vet will be able to fix them up.
