My girls have made it through their first week. They had a really busy week including a vet appointment and topical mite treatment.

Weirdly (to me) they were more into me after we got back from the vet and started coming out of their hiding spots more when I was in the room.

They now, finally, wheek when it's time for food. All three come out and eat from my hand. They've started popcorning around their cage. I love it.

Rennie (Queen Siren Husky) has discovered that she can borrow under the fleece blankets I have in the cage. She is the brave explorer and is the first to check out any changes or additions to their home. I thought she was the loudest, hence her name but we realized it was actually Bunny even though Rennie is the first one to see what's up.

The Lady in Waiting, Bunny is shy and gentle. Several times during feeding she hides, then immediately comes back for food. She is slow to try new things or check anything new out in the cage.

Mouse is the Royal Taste Tester, which is funny to me because she's tiny compared to her sisters (200g+ less). She's a skinny so it makes sense that she is into food more than the other two. Of course that's a feat because the others are really into food too.

Aww, it’s so lovely when they start showing you their individual personalities. They are beautiful.

Camowen did this too the first few times I had fleece in. If it was folded in any way it's like he realised what a fold meant and boom, under he went. I'd've been less nervous if it didn't mean that if he was going under the fleece in the cage, he could do the same thing to find his way out of the cage and then I'd be in trouble.

He hasn't tried for a while so far as I know (he used to like hiding underneath the fleece pads in their hideys too), I think it's because he's more comfortable in the cage, the room, around me, so he doesn't feel the need to hide so much. I still try to weigh down the edges of the fleece in the cage though, usually with a bendy log bridge/tunnel.

Your girls are beautiful btw
