My little ruby-eyed girlie can really light up even the darkest day and is helping me massively over the loss of two big Tribe personalities in recent weeks.
About 10 weeks now. I adopted her at about 5 weeks of age. Because of her pink eyes she was the only one of her back-to-back pregnancy mis-sexed shop couple family of 9 who had not received any interest.
But after losing my three lilacs (9 year old Calli, 5 year old Bedo and 6 year old Iola) in less than two weeks at the end of June, I was missing having a lilac around. Her coat colours are the ones of Cariad (in whose memory she has been named). I also wanted Gethin to have another little peru wife to get old with, seeing that his beloved Tesni had passed away in March and her litter sister Ffwlbri is now a venerable 7 1/2 years old, so Carys was ticking pretty much all my boxes! I never thought I would get the go ahead, considering what a cutie she is!
Carys ('Love' in Welsh) is on the submissive side, so she has fitted in really well and is not able to challenge Ffwlbri's top spot. Gethin is of course delighted!
You can see how much she (and her hair) has grown out since her arrival 5 weeks ago.
She is stunning and a very lucky little sow, she has certainly landed on her feet with you. I am so pleased to hear she is helping to lift your spirits after so many losses in such a short time. X
