carrie annes got permission for her holiday

sent off the 2 kids application for holidays duiring school term time, she brought hers home yesterday saying yes but he hasn't heard yet, now how can they only give permission to one child and not the other, am I to leave him behind to fend for himself, ( fingers crossed I get it tomorrow) not that I care anyway we was going to go anyway, Micks to busy with work in the holidays, both have a good attendence level despite carrie annes asthma which they cannot discriminate on she under a care plan, schools cant wait for them to leave

I'm going to have the same problem soon daughter needs a week off from 13/4 .
I can't afford to take time off in the holidays I work in the tourist trade self employed so would have to pay for someone to do my job for the week as well.

Good news for one then. You've had problems before with this school haven't you? Sounds like they're trying to be a bit difficult.

yes its the school from hell since the new headmistress took over, carrie anne says she got permission becasue they were worried I'd kick off at them again ahhh bless her, but I told josh today go get your letter at the office if not ready I will ring up, unbelievable....
so glad hes leaving this july , carrie annes next year, more expensive uniform, and would you beleive the girls at high school can ONLY wear trousers ridiculous what happens in the hot weather and when they have periods i know i prefer to wear skirts, even now, :tickedoff:

I just don't get the idea as to why only pants it doesn't make sense, Dee prefers to wear pants but that's just her, most of her friends wear skirts or summer uniform when it's hot, i think they should be given a choice :o

That seems rather daft. But then again it doesn't sound like the head is the brightest thing in the world, so i'm kinda not surprised. :

I think the reasoning behind it all is that some girls are wearing very short skirts, but surely thats up to the parents to make sure they wear correct uniform, I know Carrie anne would never be allowed to wear short skirts showing off her butt. come on 4 older brothers and dad grandad and 2 uncles living here she would never get away with it,
