Carpet Tubes As Toys...

Last night I emailed a few local carpet shops asking if they would be able to supply empty carpet tubes when they are done with them for me to use a tubes/hides for the piggies.

A few have emailed me back saying they would be more than happy to provide me with tubes free of charge.

Just wondered if anyone else had done this and if they are definitely safe for guineas before I pick them up?

I've not used them for my piggies but believe they are safe and many people use them as tunnels
I'm thinking of doing it though and some for my kitties covered with carpet as scratch posts - could be great making mazes for them and cheap to throw away when destroyed by little furries
Card from loo/kitchen rolls are safe for them so really can't see why not.
We need pics of any tubes including your piggies please

I will definitely upload pics once ive collected the tubes

I just didnt see the point in paying for tubes from pet shops etc when you can get basically the same thing, all be it less pretty, for nothing!

I got some when next door were redoing carPets and mine love them.Sawed some into shorter lengths and cut hole in middle of longer length to make long tunnel
