I have a 2 month old boar called Reggie, who I believe is either teddy or swiss teddy.
His coat is dense but soft, but also quite frizzy and at his rear end he has some longer hairs that stick out.
Underneath him he has short but very curly hair, but it always seems to get matted. I try to get it out but the brush I have is terrible. It gets worst under and between his front two feet, as I imagine they are doing the most moving around.
I have the very basic brush you find in all pet stores, it isn’t that great, but thankfully I have never needed anything more until now.

I was wondering if there were any specific brushes or tools you found helpful for this breed/hair type, and anything you do to make caring for their hair easier.
I have attached some pictures of him, including his wild bum hair and his curly underbelly.

I find a comb is best for my pepper, he also has a curly frizzy fluffy type coat, I trim him in the summer and let it grow out in the winter but it never touches the floor, I try to keep around his bottom short but by some miracle peppers coat doesn’t mat, as he hates being combed and brushed.
This is his current summer furdo.

Any specific? Or just any comb.

P.S - Gorgeous piggy :wub::wub:

I just have one of those double sided ones that’s fine on one side and wider on the other, you might need something a little wider tor your Piggie though!
