I'm alternating between fleece & carefresh colours on a trial basis at the moment to see what's better for my boys. I started off with the fleece which ended up getting quite grubby with hay and poops, it made me think that if I used fleece exclusively I might buy a wee dustbuster to make it easier.

I think the carefresh might be causing my boys to sneeze more? Has anyone had experience using it?

It may be the hay causing the piggy to sneeze, my piggy, Chester has a slight allergy to hay.
How often did you clean and wash your fleece cage ?
I try doing mine, every 3 days with daily hand vacs to get rid of poops and a good rubber brushing down before putting it in the wash.

It didn't occur to me that piggies could have hayfever. Come to think of it I sneeze a little when I haven't had any antihistamines that day.

I think it was four days. I think I'm probably going to switch back to fleece permanently anyway as it seems to be working better for us than the carefresh. £5.99 every few days seems a bit ridiculous.

Hay can be very dusty depending on the brand. And my little Chester piggy just can't handle it poor thing, fleece is the best for him.

Fleece is cheaper than most other beddings, however vet bed is also another option you could try ! (: lasts a bit longer than fleece, about two years i think.

Carefresh can be quite dusty, have you tried megazorb? It's much nicer. The sacks look quite expensive, but are proper big sacks not carefresh size. You may be able to find a local horse feed supplier that can get it as well which save the postage and is about £7 a sack.

I use Ecobed chopped cardboard which is completely dust free or there's finacard which is a finer chop and so softer.
