Carefresh And Baking Soda

I don't personally use Carefresh, but I came across a post on Facebook that says that Carefresh added baking soda to their product, but then removed it when they started getting reports of animals - rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats etc - becoming ill and even dying. However, they have not recalled the product.

I googled it some more and found a number of posts where people described their guinea pigs and other pets getting ill from this product, so it would appear it has some basis.

I don't use carefresh and boy am I glad I don't.

I'm just reading their Facebook page and the number of people commenting to report health issues with their pets is appalling - and the lack of a suitable response from the company is even more so!
