Hi

We found Poppy (one of Sokel's rescues) had a non healing sore on her chest so off to the vets yesterday. What a shock to find that she had a tumour.

She's had her op today & has recovered well - eating fine. She's been put into a separate hutch with vetbed & very soft bedding to keep her warm. She's got to go back to have her stitches removed in 10 days.

My question is the vet said to keep her seperate from her hutch mate, Tiggy but I'm worried about reintroducing these girls afte 10 days - it's such a long time for piggies! Any tips?

you could try halving the cage so they can still see and smell each other, and at play time you could have them out together and cuddle time too that way they will still have contact and smell eachother. sending hugs and healing vibes for poppy :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: and hugs for tiggy too :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: good luck O0

Poor little Poppy. I would also make a divider between the hutch/cage so they can see each other, especially so they don't get lonely
