Cardboard Tubes

i have quite a few tubes in with my guinea pigs, they're one of their favourite things! But they've been ripping the inside to pieces, I'm finding lots of ripped bits about the hutch. I'm just worried about them eating it and if it has any adverse effects?

No it is fine.
Some they will eat and some they will just rip off for the sheer joy of destroying something.
They sound like very happy piggies.

My Gwen is a tube destroyer, she loves the taste of the cardboard and its actually a good bit of fibre for them.

That sounds like a happy, occupied piggy. Two of my piggies are tube destroyers. It makes them very happy! And it's not harmful to them at all.
