cardboard box?

sorry, i know i have asked so many questions but can i use a cardboard box for a place to hide or do i need to buy one from the shop?

I use cardboard boxes. An empty wine box is a good size. I cut the bottom off and make a door (and sometimes windows). My girls love them. I pick up loads of empty boxes at the supermarket because the rescue I help at use them too.

A cardboard box would be fine. It might need replacing every now and again if they chew it or wee in it though. If you cut the bottom off it, that will help, cos it won't get weed on.

Cardboard boxes are great, as are paper bags (like the primark ones, or old fashioned greengrocer ones) and tunnels can be free too if you go to a carpet store and ask for one of their inner rolls. That's a 2 m tunnel But probably smarter to saw it up into smaller pieces...
