We're going away for a week to stay with my mum, taking our 3 piggies. It's a 4 hour drive, usually we stop at least twice, so it takes about 5 hours. I was going to take the gp's in a pet travel cage, either on the front seat, or in the back between my 2 daughters. Would it be good to stop halfway and let them stretch their legs somewhere, or just get there as quick as we can? Any tips for travelling on a car with gp's?

My other tip would be to take a second 'emergency' carrier (even a box would do in a pinch).
We have 3 pigs who get on very well, but several hours in a confined space can be stressful, and if they get grumpy with each other, having the option to separate them for a bit might be helpful.
