Capy, No1 Model!

Today I put some cream on Capy's skin and she was being very well behavied so I took a few photos of her.

I'm so sorry to say this, but how bizzare they look! I've said before i'd rescue one in need of a home, but not go looking for one.I like fur on mine. ;D
 
He is soo cute! The more i look at the hairless ones the more i want them! I might have a look at the local pet shop or the one i got cindy from. I am going to the rspca with mum soon so if i see one he is mine lol! They are so cute! I love capy's flufy nose lol! :D
 
Cute! I'd love to own a furless pet some day - whether it's a piggy, a rat or a sphinx cat. They just add on to how interesting pets can be, and would allow me to learn more. C:

I would love to say how beautiful - but I just can't decide ;D I have never seen a skinny pig let alone hold one! I think with pigs its all in the holding where you get a feel for them. I would be scared of making them jump because I always have really cold hands. Although if I fell for one I bet it would be like having a small baby with that soft warm skin that just drives me nuts!

The first pic looks a bit like my old horse Gwena with a white blaze!
As said before I wouldn't turn one down as a rescue but I wouldn't actively seek one out if you get my drift.
 
Capy is a SOW, not a BOAR! :o
She is ment to be hairless, she is a Skinny Pig. Skinnylover has already seen Capy.
She does have whiskers but the slight hair she does have is Rex so her whiskers are curly.
She has really soft skin, lovely and warm all the time. She is living with a hairy piggy called Delightful and Capy snuggles up to her.

ahh bless him love the one of him kissing his foot, do you have to apply cream for a reason? reminds me of a mini hippo, cute though, I panick mine are getting cold in winter I'd be hell to live with if I had them living here lol I'd have mum knitting jumpers and hats etc ;D
 
No they can't.
They must be kept indoors because it would be cruel to put her outside having no fur, its like you being put in the garden with no clothes on and left.
Capy lives indoors like most of my guinea pigs.
Capy has cream on her skin when she needs it at the moment its once a week.

Have to agree with Kimmie about the piccie it does look like he's blowing kisses, how adorable :-* :-*

Skinnylover has enough skinnys of her own, lol!
I feel in love with Skinnys around 5 years ago when I first saw them on an American website.
I talked to someone who owned a skinny and she put me in contact with the breeder and I got Capy is October, I love her to pieces!
I hope every Skinny has an outgoing personality like she has because I would want them all!

Do you need to put lotion on them very often? Do hairless guineas get cold easily?
 
As I have said Capy gets cream/lotion on her once a week.
She lives inside with my other guinea pigs, I do not give her artifical heat because she has a hairy piggy to snuggle up with and she is inside where its warm and snug. I would not recommend keeping them outside.

She's beautiful! I've never held one, SkinnyLover offered to let me hold a baby but I didn't.. I touched it though haha. I'd be scared of holding one, my hands are always soo cold. They're really cuteeeeeeeeeeee ;D
 
She is a gorgeous piggy and loves me very much, I have the warmest sweaty hands, and he is always kissing my fingers, lol. :-*
They have soft velvet like skin, I had never touched a Skinny until I held Capy for the first time.

i probably would have a guinea pig like capy, cuz they're different and unique, but not until I'm older, it sounds like alot of responsiblity to look after.
 
awww I think she's absolutely GORGEOUS!! :) and she looks such a happy little thing as well!

I've never had a skinny before, but I could be sooo tempted cause she's such a cutypie! :)
