Captain and Major have just fallen out!

I have just been to feed everyone their supper. Did that all OK. Then decided to check each piggy in turn. Picked Major out - all fine. Picked Captain out- all fine. Put Captain back in, and Major started chattering. Then Captain started. Picked Major out again, and he continued. Picked Captain out, had them side by side, chattering continues. In the end, after trying to put them back in the hutch twice, I have separated them. I can't believe their bond broke - why? I hadn't handled any other piggys, just food and 1 bunny. I guess this is it, or should I try to rebond? This has never happened in all my years of piggy keeping

They might be having a chatter - you should leave them - my girls sometimes have a quick chatter but shut up fairly quick there's never blood drawn

Give them time to cool down and then try to re-introduce, but treat them like it was the first time.

Thanks for the advice - they seem to be friends again. Fingers crossed it stays that way p
