Oh my goodness! I actually cant stop spending money on my piggies! The other day I went to ikea and spend around £80 on a table (to put my guineas cage on) and a storage unit for their stuff. Then Ive ordered a wash bag (which was really expensive ) and more fleeces/soaker pads. This is really becoming an addiction :))
And i cant wait to expand their cage, but cant do it until I move house and get more room to actually fit it in. You'd think I had 20 guineas the amount I spend not 2!
does anyone else seem to spend a ridiculous amount or is it just me?!:))XD

Not just you .... I'm sort of addicted to fleecy things, and keep buying Oscar matching sets of bed and cave. I want more, but I know that no more will fit in the washing machine at any one time. It's fun though!

Same here. I have 2 laundry baskets full of fleecey beds etc and my chinchillas have 2 large storage baskets full of treats! I don't need to buy anything for them in ages, but doubt that will stop me!

The temptation to spend is huge but i am being very frugal this year.....x

There are just so many cool things out there to buy for them :) Its the fleecy things that get me too, have a basket full of them. I dread to think of how much spent on hay, that is where most the 'pig money' goes I reckon

everytime I get paid I end up spending money on beds, fleeces, general bits for the cage or furniture for guinea storage! my wash bag came today though so I'm excited to use that! I hope it was worth the money :))

I am addicted to buying things for my girls, I thought that the fleece items to buy we're too expensive so I have bought everything I need to make my own and will be doing so in a few weeks (: I'm so excited to make my own fleece items

oh wow, that sounds really good! I wish I could make my own but I've never been that talented with sewing or anything like that, the best I can do is cross stitch which isn't really helpful for my guineas :)) you'll have to post some pictures when you've made some, would love to see what you've made :)

I will do, I've bought some really nice fabric patterns so I'm hoping they will look good! One of the patterns is liquorice alsorts! My favourite sweets!

I've just ordered some fleecy things and washbag... But I want so many, and had to choose just two fleecey things! (should have been one really, but...........)

I just commandeered a couple of my kids fleeces to make fleece forests so now have to replace them and they have play tubes and cuddle sacks.Must stop buying things for them

I have just spent a nice little sum on new fleecies for my boys - can't wait for them to arrive. I'm still just getting started with my collection, dread to think how much money I'll have spent by the end of the year - and no idea where I'm going to store it all!

I'm struggling with the storage now! me and my boyfriend are renting a 1 bedroom flat at the minute and we literally have no room for anything else :)) cant wait to move so I'm not limited on stuff I can buy XD

Welcome to the club! I have managed to acquire so much stuff for my 2 boys it takes up most of the wardrobe in the spare bedroom + 2 giant storage boxes in the garage.

It's all the fault of this forum! Not only are there too many talented forum members making lovely things that I feel my boys MUST have, but then there are all the posts showing what other forum members have in their cages where I discover other items my boys MUST MUST have!

Then there is their latest cage, which I imported from the UK & the freight cost more than the cage itself!
