I am not sure if I read somewhere that you could use cat litter ? I am not trying to toilet train the piggies as quite pleased so far with the hay tray but looking for something more disposable than my fleece as have enough washing lol !

Yes, but only paper-based litter.
If you're looking for ideas to use in your trays, I use 'back 2 nature' in my hay trays which is a recycled paper bedding, I'd recommend it!
