Junior Guinea Pig
HI
I am working on plans to build a 5 grid by 3 grid C&C cage. Using other sites for measurements this will make a 70inch x 42 inch enclosure.
The correx I have seen for sale comes in 8ft x 4ft sheets (thats 96inch x 48inch). The Guineapigcage.com website says you then need to add 12inches on the width and the length to give you the sides but with a 42inch width that only leaves me 6inches of correx for the sides (giving me only a 3 inch wall either side).
How do you get round this, can I add sides from another sheet of correx and tape it together? Will this be strong enough and stand the test of time/wee/poop? My experience of taping things together means that six months later its usually coming apart:-)
Any advice from any of you with larger C&C set ups?
