Hi all, I have just bought my piggies a batch of dried nettles from the company where I purchase my hay. I read online that nettles are very nutritional for piggies and wondered if anyone else on the forum has fed their piggies nettles before? Apparently they are good for their overall health, especially their bladders.

Thanks for your reply that's put my mind at ease. Obviously with their sensitive little tummys, I'm always reluctant to feed them anything new.

Dried nettles are fine for piggies as are lots of other dried leaves (dandelion, apple, mulberry, etc.). We buy our dried forage from Piggie Parcels (they have a website and Facebook page) and mix a little with their hay each day for a treat.

Yes I feed dried nettles/ dandelions etc.
You do your own dried nettles. Pick fresh ones and tie together and hang indoors and they will dry out ready for use in a couple of weeks. I keep mine in an airtight container. Cheap to do
