I'm very informed about guinea pig care, but I'm a little unsure about this. My mom bought the oxford essentials hamster and gerbil food pellets for cheap at a store. I read the ingredients and they don't include any nuts or seeds and the main ingredient is timothy hay. Also, it says the pellets include a mix of veggies, fruits, and greens. I can include a picture if needed. Thank you

No, it isn't good for guinea pigs I'm afraid, feed pellets or nuggets for guinea pigs ( same thing) I reccomend Harringtons you can buy is asda stores, or science selective grain free pets at home. Just 1 tablespoon per pig per day is enough. ^

Guinea pigs need fresh veggies daily that are rich in vit c or atleast have good vit c. Here are a few for example..

Red or green bell peppers
Coriandor
Kale ( but not everyday)

Guinea pig pellets are usually fortified with vitamin c as piggies can't manufacture their own vit c so it's important to have specific pellets for piggies so they get the nutrients they need
