I have put the top level in the rabbit 150 cage we have and was wondering if the wire ramp will be ok for the girls to climb ? and also is it safe to have a top level.

i have put vet bed over the wire at the top but don/t want them to fall over the edge!?/

cant see the pic very well. but i know wire floors are really bad for piggies so i suspect its the same situation in this instance i'm afraid :)p:)p:)p

i have lined the floor with vetbed but the ramp is wire so i may get a fleece tunnel to put on the ramp.....

I have made a ramp out of C&C cubes which are made of metal grid / wire. I line with about 5 sheets of newspaper doubled over to make a firm base then add vet bed to the top. It seems much more sturdy and they can run at speed up and down

Mine is also a C&C and the ramp is metal mesh which is lined with vetbed. They can run up and down. However our ramp is curved to stop any piggies falling over the sides. Can't make out the photo properly so not sure if that could happen in your cage.

fine so far the girls are using the ramp and upper level with no problems:)

YAY good news. Sounds like they were quick figuring it out.

SO QUICK! they seem to love it and whiz up and down so fast! great that it gives them even more space too!:(|)
