yes these are the right ones. Its enough to make a 2x6 cage which is big enough for two piggys :) They'll love it :) obviously if you wanted to make a second leval, a stand or just a wider/longer cage you would need a second pack. You will also need cable ties as when its all connected, you will be a few connectors short..

Is it just me or does it all sound so complicated? Cable ties? What do you use for flooring I presume I'll just get all the stuff off ebay?:...

Cable ties you can just get from b&q, or any hardwear store - it really isnt complicated and trust me its well worth it! I'm the most useless person ever when it comes to making things and i managed it! Ill get you the link for the correx - you could get it off ebay I suppose but I got mine from these people and i got a huge piece for 20 pounds including delivery:)

The correx you use for the floor - you make a box - go to this website and read how

http://www.guineapigcages.com/howto.htm

If you really cant make the box - although its super easy - you can also use a large piece of lino (floor lino)

In total it'll probably cost about £40... Can I not get the bottom from B & Q? Did you have alot of that stuff left over? Think I'll wait till next payday before I attempt the C & C cage, I don't need a roof do I?@)

no you dont need a roof unless you have a cat or a dog :) Then id advice one lol :)) i didnt have much left over but then again i built a 3x7 cage ;)

no you cant get the correx from b&q although if you have a local sign makers by you, you can get it from there :)

What size of sheet would you suggest if I make the biggest one I can make out that link on ebay?

Thank you very Candy for the advice I shall wait on next pay day, and see Fred excepts the new baby before I shall begin my C & C cage! :))

Joanne, you will also have to consider how big Fred's new little pal is. Those c & c are great but the squares are about 2" square ish, and little heads can get stuck, and little piggies can escape, as I know!. You may need to put something extra around the sides until the little one grows big enough not to escape or get stuck. x

You can also get links for cube storage on amazon.co.uk, but ebay was cheapest (look out for postage fees, though!)

Local sign makers are your best bet for correx; look up the yellow pages and ring out for quotes - prices vary!
