Can anyone remember what this bedding was...

A while ago I saw a thread by someone who said they'd bought these matress topper type things. They were disposable and the person had worked out how many they would need, how much it would cost, and how long a pack would last. I think they had an absorbant centre.

If you can remember, please can you point me in the direction of the thread and/or tell me what they were? And how well they've worked out?

I buy childrens bed mats. They are disposable and a good size. They are in the nappy section.

I get through two a week, with newspaper on top for their playpen in the daytime.

Sounds like children's mattress toppers for bed wetting, similar to nappies, i haven't tried them but can imagine they were quite good, i'd be interested in knowing how well they got on with them too !
Googling could maybe give you an idea of pricing up with sizes and things ?

Hmm, it wasn't that one, but the right kind of direction.

And it wasn't puppy pads. It was for children. Someone had just bought them and they'd worked out that a pack of so many for so many pounds would last them however many weeks and it sounded like a great idea but I forgot to bookmark it! :red

It was Drynites bed pads rolleyes You can also use the ones from Poundland. I use a layer of newspaper, towels, then the Drynites or bed pads from Poundland, then I use a mattress topper (cotton) then fleece on the top. The bed pads absorb all the wee & wick it away from the fleece

Might have been me? I used the dry nights ones, but they have changed in price so my calculations would now be different anyway. Its still cheaper for me than anything else (thats anywhere near as absorbant)
