Hi

I would like to get a new hutch, can anyone recommend a supplier, must be at least 4ft. Pets at Home hutches do not seem very sturdy.

Thanks

Rach

happy hutch do some lovely hutches have a look at them online.:)

I have recently upgraded some of my boarding hutches with Happy Hutches (6x2x2) and am very pleased with them. My own piggies also have these hutches in their shed - they are wearing well so far.

Pets at home have a 2 storey Primrose cottage on offer at £99.00

thats pretty sturdy

its the better range

I got the single one, which I'm returning to swap for a double, (just going to pay extra £40) My friend has it, and its really good, only problem being its a bit awkward to clean the the sleeping area as there is a little box type bedding area in, but you wouldnt have to add it if you didnt want to.

the cheap ones are rubbish IMO as the floor is plain wood and will rot quick

i got one off a friend - re cycling it and the floor lifts out for easy cleaning and can be washed down as its covered

also the lid is hinged for easy access (as i dont bend as well as i did)

no idea where he got it tho - sry

i have 2 parsley dens, which were a mare until i got the hutch huggers! they let in water, the hinges are rubbish, I have a fair few hutches, 2 have a lift up lid, but i never use it..I'm not tall enough lol x

i struggle with the low down cages especially with the wide doors as i am so sure Bridge is going to bolt

the taller on seems to work for me

Pets at Home cheap hutches are rubbish but the dearer range are fab. They don't do them anymore (I'm sure there is an alternative) but the Lavander Lodge is a great hutch, you might got one on Ebay! 5x2 in size I love ours!

I love the primrose cottage I so want one. They are reduced too! problem is I have indoor pigs and intend to keep them that way so would have to get some more for outside (not a clever idea :)) )

no that is a great idea - get more. Fill your garden
