Can all these lettuce types be fed?

I think so. I'm not sure but my pigs have eaten almost all of these and never had any problems. Right now actually they are eating about 7 different types of lettuces and spinach and rocket! I went a bit mad buying reduced salads in tesco . . . :)

I'm afraid I don't know about whether or not they're all safe to give but I just thought I'd mention....

I've recently stopped giving mine romaine lettuce as I'm pretty sure it's upsetting his tum. A little while after eating it (about 30-45 mins) he grumbles and seems to be in discomfort for a few minutes, then he's ok. Has anyone else experienced this? He's fine with round lettuce and other varieties I've tried. I could be completely wrong but I wonder if it's the milky white stuff that's contained in the spine of the leaf.

I'm sure that mine have eaten most of the types of lettuce on there, but they really like the radicchio, round lettuce, little gem and the Lollo Rosso. Of course i know that you have to feed spinach, rocket and the red chard in small amounts as they are high in CA.

I was just wondering as i want to plant some more lettuce seeds and wanted to know which were the best ones.

Ive never seen the Tatsoi before? But it says its from the same family as pak choi.

:)
