Hi I've had my boar piggies since Oct and they've always been indoors but I think I'd like them to be outside in a hutch now. However I got them from a rescue and I'm sure I remember being told they needed to be kept indoors?
They don't have any health problems and are both about 1 year old and weigh 1100g.
I'm looking on previous posts for hutch recommendations as we have lots of foxes in our garden so need to be confident they'll be safe!

I love that hutch!

Just got it!

It's absolutely fantastic, although I think it's still a little bit chilly to leave them out overnight. So they go out in the day and sleep in my room at night still :) They haven't figured out the ramp yet but they will do I'm sure! They love it

Lucky piggies, you may like to modify the ramp a little by making it less steep and perhaps build a banister or something down the sides of the ramp to make the pigs feel safer whilst using it. I have a ramp tunnel on mine. I love your dog x

:D Wow! that is a fantastic hutch! It looks like the ramp might get in the way when going in through the side door, and you would have to be careful that piggies don't bolt out through the doors when you open them. And I can imagine that catching them from underneath the hutch might be a problem! But apart from that, its great! :))

Catching them from underneath can be a little bit tricky, it's true :P Surprisingly, the ramp really doesn't get in the way, but I agree it might need some modification. It's made of nice grippy material so their little paws don't slip and it's not quite as steep as it looks, though :) They've finally worked it out and were up and down it all day yesterday, put-putting proudly to each other XD

I've not had them make a run for it yet... normally they run further in like "Please don't take us back inside Mum! We love the grass!"
