Just wondering... whats everyones camping experiences...

Apart from the creepy-crawlies and yucky stuff, and no tiolets... I love it!
I went on a school camp last year! It was awesome! Near the beach and everything! lol

we always went with a caravan, which had a little bathroom including toilet...

also not too many creepy crawlies..

I loved it, but am not sure if the hardcore-campers would accept me as a "camper" :)

;D me neither lol

Mum was talking about getting a caravan... and go on a long trip somewhere... and take the dog ;D lol... but then I'm going to need a piggy and bunny sitter ;D lol

A have a friend who takes her piggies with her camping :)

I dont know what you call them in england, but these big tents that you can attach to a caravan?

So she has them in a cage in the tent overnight, and during the day she puts them in a biiiiiiiiig run, she doesnt have that big a garden herself so camping is great as there is green grass everywhere around her :)

:o wow i went camping a couple of weekends ago.. i loved it and i went with my best friend which was good!

The tents you attach to a caravan are called awnings here! We have a tent that we havent used yet its still in its box! I love camping I've done loads of it in the past and its great fun in the wet or dry weather!

My best friend wanted to take me camping too :smitten: dont know what happened ;D lol

;D

It was fun, there were slides nearby and i got friction burns, we invented new ways of going down them

I went dow backwards a couple of times!

We used to go camping alllllll the time. We have a massive tent and we got a trailer tent a couple of years ago. We never went on holiday last year because we couldn't afford it- we want to go this year but no one to look after Patch (kitty), the piggies or Charlie (hammy).

I love camping though. Just not so keen on the freezing cold nights :P

I always went in a caravan...which was not little, never had creepy crawlies and had it's own shower. It was good but so cramped. We're used to having a three story house to roam in.

I love caravaning, we take our dogs with us and try to get away for atleast 4 weeks out of the year and occasionaly weekends.

Does anyone have favourite places that they visit?

Mines The New Forest in Hampshire.

I have been camping with my friends in an abandoned site near an abandoned farm - spooky place. Fab time but SPOOKY O0

Well I love camping :) the first time we went the day we came home we woke to the rain. It was not fun downing a tent in the rain :(but the funniest thing was while unpegging the tent I saw a little tail, Rob hates mice ect anything with a tail so I warned him just in time ;Dit was a tiny vole that would not run anywhere but under the tent :D it was pouring with rain and we had to throw the blooming tent into the air and chase the vole away before we could pack it away. Did not put us off camping one bit :)

I love camping, we are going to be doing it next year the children will be older and will enjoy it more, want to get a VW camper with an awning, GREAT ;D

We call them annexes in OZ.
Used to go caravan camping as a kid, then went tent camping in my teens. I prefer motels now, must be getting soft eh ;D ;D
You can have the best time tho, i enjoyed it more when we went with friends O0

yeh me too cos you have more fun with friends

If you mean camping in a tent, i have not done this much. The last time i did this away from home was when I'm went to canada and me and a friend over there went camping, took the trailer but we camped in an actual tent. It was wanderful, out tin the forest. But i was a little frightened haha. I dont like camping in tents much, they make me feel un comfortable and cold in the morning LOL

I used to camp when I went on scooter rallys in my young days. I wasn't very good at it though. I always brought extra toilet paper with me which everyone laughed at but by the second day they were all desperate for it. Wasn't so funny then was it? Oh no! ;D and I always tried to bring a duvet and a pillow but it was quite hard to fit them and all the rest of my gear on the back of a little vespa ;D

The next time I went camping was at my friend's wedding reception. Me and Steve slept in the back of the van and I did have my duvet and pillows. We were really warm and comfy. Everyone else froze ;D

I certainly wouldn't do it again xx0 ;D
