Hello,

There is a guinea pig rescue open night for a guinea pig rescue as part of national pet month this evening at Apex Vets where the famous and miraculous vet Glen works.
For those of you who dont know Glen has performed many dentals without GA on our piggies. Removed and cured my piggies absess that had grown attached to his insides. Also cured flinstones Patrick after almost a year of bladder problems by performing an operation never done on dogs let alone pigs before.

The rescue is a small rescue (30 capacity roughly) run from the ladies home. I have two rescue piggies from her and our member Farquahr has adopted from her also.

She cares so much for the piggies and is often up day and night nursing poorly piggies and has even set up cctv before to watch piggies through the night.

Unfortunatly I cannot make it this evening due to a dental appointment but for anyone that can- please go along to show your support of rescues in Scotland for free tea, coffee and biscuits and to meet fellow piggy fans.

Its on from 7.30pm at Apex vets in Denny (near Falkirk)

Thanks for letting me know but unfortunately I have no transport at the moment so cant go. :-(

The operation Patrick had is done in dogs, however it's not a routine guinea pig operation. :)

I don't think I'll be able to make it but we'll see. X

Erm, I'm not sure if shes a memebr or not. I dont reckon she has time probably. She used to work alongside thistle cavies I think and then set up her own rescue. I'm not sure she advertises but you can get her details through Apex vest I'm sure :). I wouldnt like to hand thm out on her behalf unless someone was interested in rescuing.

Ive only just seen this. I hope they get a good turn out. I adopted Vivienne from this rescue after Matilda passed and it was great meeting Carol and seeing what wonderful work she does for needy piggies....

Are you sure about the date it says on Facebook the 1st May?

What facebook page are you talking about? cuz I may be able to go on 1st May, was thinking about helping out at a local charity and would quite like to find out how local she is and if she needs help. thanks
