Hi one of my piggy’s had dental treatment back in May. Since then he has not eaten properly. He tries to eat hay but it ends up horizontal in his mouth sticking out both sides. He did eat grated veg, lettuce leaves and grass to begin with but recently he has stopped eating anything for himself. I syringe feed him critical care several times a day. Today he has been back to the vets and she has diagnosed him with calcified bulla syndrome and told me there is no cure. He is still trying to eat hay albeit sideways in his mouth and it chewing at the willow and sea grass toys in his cage so he is still trying. I’ve phoned the rabbit and cat clinic in Northampton who have told me that Simon and the other person who sees guinea pigs are off on leave until the 18th July and there’s nobody else who can deal with it. I just wondered if anyone has any experience or advice in regards to this? Thanks
