will Guinea pigs be okay living in a 100cm cage. I just want a yes or no answer. They will have a lot of floor and play time. Thanks X

Your Guinea pigs still have some growing to do. They will soon outgrow a 100cm cage x
Would a 120cm cage be okay? Or would they be ok until June then I can get another 100cm and add them together? What's my best option?

It's really up to you. Are your piggies male or female?

If you do not want to waste the cage you already have, you could join it together with another cage which would give them even more room than a 120 :) If you have two boys, you will definitely need bigger than a 120

Considering your piggies are still not fully grown, they should be fine until you can buy them another 100cm cage in June if that's the option you choose x

Hi @EllaBellaPiggys Please can you keep your discussion to one thread about cage sizes for your 2 piggies? Forum rules do request that you don't post separate threads about the same issue within a reasonable period of time.
As we have answered on your other thread a 100cm cage is not suitable for 2 piggies. The 120cm cage is better. Bigger is better where cage size is involved.

They are female. I am thinking about getting another cage in June and keeping them in the 100cm cage until June. Would this be ok?

You will either need to buy them a 120cm cage or join two 100cm cages together. I expect they will be fine until June so long as you provide them with lots of floor time in the meantime but a single 100cm cage isn't suitable in the long term

If you are getting them from a rescue have they not stipulated a minimum cage size? Most rescues insist on a 120x60 cage. At BARC we now have a minimum cage size of 5 feet by 2 feet (150cm by 60cm) but would accept a smaller cage if it had a permanent run attached. Remember your piggies will spend most of their life in their cage. Also, you will be cleaning a small cage all the time as it will soon get messed up!

Just brought a lovely 140 cage for £70. Lots of room and easy to get inside
