Hi All!
So I am making my new C&C cage. The table that I was planning on putting it on is slightly smaller than the size of the cage. (3 inches smaller to the back and front, and 5 inches smaller to the left and right). Do you think I need to reinforce the table with a piece of plywood before putting the cage on it, or do you think the coroplast is strong enough to use by itself?

I haven't had experience with C&C cages but I'd say a piece of plywood just in case you know. I know guinea pigs usually like to hide in corners, especially when afraid and sleeping so the reinforcement would be good to stabilise it.

I've had this issue and ended up with the cage collapsing as one of the connectors dropped off, causing a chain reaction of collapse. Definitley put something underneath as when both my girls rushed to one end it started lifting up even though it was weighed down at both ends. I now have it over 2 tables with space at either end to place the toys when sweeping up.
