I am researching cage size's for guinea pig's to find out the most popular size please use the poll and add extra detail's in a post ie 2 level or size of store bought cage

i have 2 C&C cages both are 4x3 and have 4 piggies i each :)

We have a C&C set up consisting of three storeys of 10.5 grids in length and 2.5 grids wide so is just a notch under 12ft long x 36 inches wide. Home to 12 piggies though with dividers :))

I have 4 c&c cages at the moment

two 4grids by 2grids
A 4grids by 2grids and an upper lever 2by2
and a 6grid by 2grid with a 3grid by 2grid haybox

also I change them around to accomadate foster piggies

I clicked the poll size 2 by 4 although I have different sizes I didnt realise I couldnt vote again :red

i have the ferplast 140 x 2 and a 6x4 wooden wendy house for summer days. i am looking into c & c but went with the ferplast as i have a cat very well behaved but never to be trusted so need to make strong lids

I am planning on selling fitted quilted cageliner's so if you could also indicate wether you would be interested i'd really appreciate it, also please enter Audioheart's fundraiser for your chance to win a cage liner (provided you are prepared to write a review) to be announced! shhhhh:x

Have not got C&C housing but would be interested in buying quilted cage liners in the future - likely to need 3 lots of 4X2 size:)

I have recently converted to an indoor open cage, but couldn't get hold of any cubes. I ended up with INTERLOCKING SHOE ORGANIZER/SHOE RACK for 16 PAIRS from Amazon ([ame]http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0011YAZV8/ref=oss_product[/ame]) which work really well. I had to find another solution for water bottles though as the plastic sides don't enable you to just hook them on like you could with a traditional c&c. I have a hutch inside the cage for this. Total cage measurement is 7ft 7 by 5 ft 9.

Forgot to add for those interested - one box from Amazon was enough to build my cage, but I did run out of the little interlocking corner pieces.

If they are seperated do you have seperate correx trays or just grids in between?

I have two 6ft by 2ft hutches, one houses 3 piggies and the other 2. I also have two 8ft by 2ft hutches, one houses 5 piggies and the other has 3, but it's divided. The boars can see each other but not touch.

I voted a 4 x 2 C&C and a 5 x 2 C&C, but I haven't built that one yet :)

I also have a 5ft x 2ft double hutch for outside in the summer, but didn't count that.

I picked "other c&c" but my piggies don't actually have a cage. I have sectioned of part of my spare room which they are shut in when I am out and at night but if I am home the have a whole room to roam but they choose not to really. There area which is cornered of is about 8ft by 3ft and they seem pretty happy :)

I have 4 boars. 2 in each cage. The cages are made from wood but each cage is the same size as 2x7 C&C.

2 x 6 in grids (7 foot by 28 inches in size)
3 storeys high
Bottom level houses 2 female piggys
Top 2 levels, connected by ramp houses 5 females. (mum, friend and 3 daughters)

ours doesn't have an option to match: home-made open-plan extending into the living room :)

Misty's cage is 1m x 1.2m, built courtesy of my OH and my dad! xx

My 3 boars are in a 3x6 C&C cage.
Plenty big enough I think (as does my room which doesn't have much space now haha)! :)

Mines an old run modified to fit under the stairs so not technically a C&C :)p
But it's 3 by 6 They were in ferplast 140 before

I got a appartment-building aka flat for guinea pigs.

Size per floor is 100cmx60cm. Each floor has two guineas, one has three (a baby, a teenager and an elderly pig).

I've got a C&C based cage with a wooden structure that I made to make it stronger.
There are two 2 x 5's on the ground floor next to each other, one with a pair of boys and one single boy next door. On the next floor is a 4 x 2 with a neutered boar and female and on the top floor is my little cockrel George who thinks he's the king of the castle and is the loudest wheeker of them all!

I have 6 store bought cages; 3 Hargen Zoo Zones I beliebe are Medium size, 2 Cavie 120's and a Cavie 80
