I found a great site regarding cage sizes. But when looking for advice from rspca etc i cant find anything. I called my local SSPCA yesterday who couldnt give me any solid advice. The vets i spoke to yesterday said a 4ft by 2ft for 2/3 piggies was fine as long as they can get out to exercise every few days. Our original plan was for a 5ft by 2ft but now going for 6ft by 2ft (can be any wider than 2 & half ft as its under my stairs) and they will get floor time.

I was just wondering if there is anything written in black and white from the likes of rspca etc in britain? I cant find anything, thanks x

I just want to make sure am doing the right thing for them all. i have another baby joining us on monday and want to get there new house sorted asap for them all x

Googled RSPCA AND CAME UP WITH THIS - 4ft by 2ft is the MINIMUM recommended size for 2 female piggies...although I personally think this is still way too small, *Minimum*

6ft by 2ft and plenty of floor time sounds great :)

Yeah i have two guinea pigs and i had a 4ft by 2ft hutch but its 2 small so we are re building. Anyone know how big a hutch needs to be for 4 piggies?:o:))

we now have 3 piggies and maybe a 4th soon.

I have enough room under my stairs for a cage that is 69inch by 31inchs. which comes out at around 5ft 9inchs by 2ft 7inchs. I would love a 4th piggies but dont want them not to have enough space. They will be getting daily floor time to.
