Hi!
I just got the grids to make my cage, but I wonder if a 105x105 cm cage would be enough for 2 male guinea pigs or would it be better for them to live in a 140x70 cm one?
The grids are 35 cm, so idk if making it 3x3 rather than 4x2 would make a difference.

You’re going for the largest floor space you can offer for a boar pair., and yes making a 3x3 vs a 4x2 does make a difference to the floor area. They ideally need 12 square feet - 180x60cm.

105x105cm concerts to 11.8 square feet. Boars need 12 square feet so Its ok.

A 4x2 (150x70cm) is covers 11.3 sq ft.
However, we always recommend a 5x2 for a boar pair as generally a 4x2 is too small. I originally had mine in an equivalent of a 4x2 and within weeks they needed an upgrade.
A 3x3, if at all possible, would be best to go to a 4x3 for a boar pair Just to give them that extra space.
