Can anyone help me what's the size of a 2 by 6 grid C and C cage in square feet please?

And how many pigs can you actually have in there please.

It would be roughly 15-16sq feet. It’s enough for 4 piggies.

About 21sq feet and would fit 6 piggies. ACA8839E-07D6-46E1-BC67-FD1225EC4B1A.webp

I got a Midwest Plus Guinea Pig habitat for my two cavies. I did a bit of DIYing and what was once a 2 foot by 4 foot cage is now a 4 foot by 5 foot cage.

What I would also say about the cage size guide is that you don't always need to have the maximum number of piggies in there.
A small group in a large space can also be extremely entertaining, and just becasue a certain cage can have up to a certain number of piggies doesn't mean they will all get on and live together happily.

Yes it’s absolutely fine for two piggies. Two piggies can go in a 2x4 and you’re providing more space than that even with the small area missing for the wall.
Thanks for the reply, do you think i would need to add an extra grid if i got another guinea pig? I’m looking at getting a third rescue pig and want to avoid disagreements as much as possible!

A 2x5 is fine for three females or two females and a neutered boar but the more space you can give the better, so if you have the ability to make the cage bigger still, then that would be great for them
