So I got me (us 🙄) some girlies and I’m trying to quickly figure out their housing. Under the stairs isn’t big enough so the only other place I can put them is in the corner of the dining room in an L shaped cage. The back wall could take 2 grids width and the other long side could possibly go to 3 grids long. Would that be big enough for two piggies? The other alternative is to join two ferplast - I think a 120 and 100 could fit, like I did with the boys before I moved them to a c&c. I considered putting them on top of the boys in a c&c, but was discouraged as it could cause upset between the boys.

Thanks in advance.

You could attach a 120 and 100 together in an L shape. Just cut 2 meeting holes in the plastic, then cable tie the tops of the cages tightly toegether. File the holes so they are not sharp. A c and c cage would look alot tidier though and would be easier to access on clean out days

Thanks for the reply @Skypipdot. Would that size of c&c I described be big enough for them?

3 long along on wall and 2 long along another wall would be fine for two girls as along as it’s also 2wide. I think it’s equivent to a 4x2. Unless you mean a 2x2 attached to a 3x2, which is even bigger

Yes it would be two wide. I’ll have to measure again and see what can fit, and what to sit it on.

Have you looked at the ferplast 160 on zooplus? Real cheap and is plenty big enough. Just remember you need an L shape lol

I looked briefly on zooplus yesterday. I’ll have to get better measurements and see what I can fit there.
