I would go for at least 2 x 5 but it's a case of what you can fit into the space you have, a 3 x 3 should also be OK. These are minimum sizes. I would probably go for a 2 x 7 or 3 x 5.
They're £24.63 for "twenty 14" grids, 22 corner connectors, and 16 clips." For orders under £40 there's a postage charge of £4.99 but for over £40 postage is free. When you go onto the website you get invited to give your email address & you get a 10% off voucher code. So if you're buying 1 pack it's £22.17 + £4.99 = £27.16 but if you buy 2 packs it's £44.34. Great price, I bought 4 & probably won't be using them for about 3 years.
Each one of those grids is 35cm long, so to get the cage you’d need to meet minimum requirements for three pigs you’d need it to be 5 grids long by 2 grids wide, so 175cm by 70cm wide.
So all together you’d need 14 grids, just to make the outside of the cage, depending on wether you’d like upper levels or a stand underneath you can add or take away more as you need them.
Not from that seller but used link to show the cage I have. I have taken out the upper shelf as it reduces floor space and they have a separate house to shelter inside, anyway. I also don't use the clip on hay feeder and put the hay in the cage.
I then have a huge eight sided playpen which is in my living room so that they can be with us when we are at home. We have a cat but she is either fast asleep or out and we would never leave the piggies unattended if she is indoors.
It is extra large size and I paid £31.99 including postage and delivery was within a few days. Very pleased with it as my daughter and I can watch from the outside or one at a time, get inside with the piggies as it is that big!
