I'm going to be making a DIY cage in a few weeks time and I'm trying to go through everything I'll need, measurements ect. How tall should the sides be? I don't want them to be able to jump out, and my one of my piggies is quite a climber.

I'll be keeping the cage on top of a counter, so it'll be open topped and I'm cautious that if I make the sides too high I won't be able to get them out easily.

Also, can i get away with using 2mm thick polycarbonate or ideally should it be 4mm?

Thanks

C&C are 14" high, so I'd say that's high enough for them not to jump out and low enough to clean. We've never had any jump out yet, but I do hear sometimes of the odd monkey jumping over the C&C. The main thing is not to put things like carrot cottages by the edge to aid their escape route :))
