Hello again everyone

Just wanted to double check a few things.
I'm settled on a ferplast 160 cm cage. My question is, I'm going to go with Fitch as as much as I like the sound of aubiose I don't know where of store 20+kg of it without causing a drama.

I also like the idea of a hay "toilet" which I've seen people use, like a cat litter tray in a corner they do most of their business in.

I like the idea of fleece too but the laundry in out house is constant as it is 🤣.

So could I have newspaper/fleece then a hay toilet area. Change that daily and clean the whole thing out weekly (obviously spot cleaning as and when & shaking the fleece out)

Also does anyone else have this cage and of so do you have a layout that works for you?

Thanks for reading! 😎

Personally, I would use an absorbant bedding in your hay trays.. Newspaper would make a soggy mess. So, maybe a puppy pad as a base layer... And fleece as top layer.

It's a shame you can't find space for Aubiose.... Buying it in a 20kg bale makes it economical.

I use Aubiose as a base layer in cardboard boxes

Here is my sow Sparkle in her favourite one

Ok perhaps I'll have another look at aubiose I'm sure I could make some room. It certainly seems to be highly rated. Thanks for the reply!
