Hello, I am new to the forum, and our family will soon be welcoming guinea pigs into our home. I am designing / constructing a run for outdoor use. I have purchased plain pine wood for the frame; I would like to paint it to stand up to outdoor use / elements. I've searched the net and haven't found conclusive info as to whether I can paint it with plain old indoor latex paint; is it ok to do so? If not, what is recommended? Do I need to just leave it be plain wood (and let them snack on the run)? Thanks, future gp owner.
