Junior Guinea Pig
Yesterday was a big day; we spent pretty much the entire day rearranging the living room and sun room to extend the C&C cage. I'll pop up a pic as a reminder of what it used to look like, used to be a 5x2 with a 5x1 upper level, though the upper level eventually went as it made cleaning the cage a nightmare, so was just a 5x2 for a while.
The storage underneath has now gone, and the cage is at ground level for better access, as it is now a 5x3. We've done this so that all 4 piggies can go in together; some of you might remember Hermes getting the chop a while back, and then we rescued little Amy. We gave them all a bath so they at least all smelt similar. Even though they had met plenty of times before, when they were on the kitchen floor yesterday Hermes was *still* just trying to mount them all, lots of glue and spraying, so we bathed them all, they needed it anyway.
Nom nom nom, their first veggie meal together!
