I looove it, you must have worked really hard. Thank you!

Mr T will look like a pimp in zebra fleece with two girlies! :))

Floydie - how much do you charge for your cage liners? I just got one custom made from an eBay seller and it's the wrong size (too small) mallethead

My cage is 165cm by 100cm exactly..

What colour? and size is it? Maybe i could add to it so you can still use it (If i have anything to match that is)

It's 160 by 97 the one I've been sent, which doesn't sound like much of a difference from 165 by 100, but it looks ridiculous and when Molly always pees right in the corner it just goes over it mallethead

I've emailed the seller and she got all stroppy with me so I've got to keep it now :a19: Safe to say I won't be recommending any of her products again rolleyes

So if you could price up one with and one without sides for that size that would be great :) what layers do you use? The good one I have (I have 2 now) is without sides but its just too big so I sort of curl the corners up which works well.

I'll send you a PM with the prices in the morning if you dont mind :). Mine are fleece top, fleece under, very thick wadding inner and water proof backed. :)

Thats the thing if you dont allow extra for the seams they end up too small, too much and they end up too big ::(. 1-2cm out should be allowed but 5cm will show.

I would like a price quote too please.. doing mine will be a massive task though so I'm just determining how much it will all cost me. Bearing in mind I am going to have four 4ftx2ft cages. One will need sides, and three of them will need a 'slit' in them, as they are hutches (indoor) with a 'bedroom' compartment. Also, I'm presuming I will need two for each cage to swap at cleaning so would be a lot of cage liners.. but I've got to the stage where I am so frustrated with shavings! It's going everywhere.

I've tried using just fleece and newspaper before and it didn't work as it took so much time changing newspaper daily and fleece every couple days. I'm hoping liners will make the process easier? Just hoover the poos daily then change when neccessary? Not sure how long that would be .. ?

Also .. :)) Sorry for taking over the thread. How do you wash them? x

I have 3 pigs in a 5.5ft by 3.5ft cage, and change this every 3 days. I do have a toilet tray and they are generally quite good with doing most of their business in there which is changed everyday, but then I also have a very small room so if it's left for longer than 3 days you can notice a smell (but in a bigger room you probably wouldn't)

I take the liner out, give it a good shake in the garden, pop it into a washing bag and put it in at 40 degrees with non bio washing powder and no conditioner. Then pop it on the line and it dries in a couple of hours :)

Oh good I'm glad it got to you so quick :).
When i wahsed it i folded the sides in and rolled it up then folded it in half.
Try a wash then dry and test it (throw water on it when dry :)), the water should go into the linner inner, if not re wash and try again :).

I spend about half an hour a day on my hutches and indoor cage, sweeping poops or taking the liner out and shaking them off.
Yes it would take me a while to make that lot :x. I have one set of liners for mine (need to make more when i find time) but on wash day i use fleece with paper under.

Hehe I can imagine it will take a long time! So I could maybe get away with four and then possibly in the future get some more. :p

Now I just need someone silly enough to take on the challenge! I'm definitely not skilled enough to make them.

I'm waiting on OH to look at the sizes for me (they need converting to ft), i'll send prices asap. :...

Its in its second wash with mee.

First time, I washed it and put it on the line and my dad just let it rain all over it! I wasn't impressed! But when it had dried it didn't soak anything up at all so, third time lucky? x

Hi Floydie,
I was wondering if you'd be able to give me a quote for a cage liner but I'm new here and not sure how to PM.
