I'm considering making liners with zorb. I've used mattress protectors in the past but zorb is more absorbent. At the moment I'm using fleece with puppy pads underneath, but prefer the ease of a stitched liner.

For those who have cage liners with fleece either side, do you flip the liner over after a few days or change it completely? And for those with 2x5 c&c cages, do you have one or two liners? Do you overlap them? I worry that the boys would burrow underneath if I overlapped liners or had even a small gap between them.

Changed completely, I went with 1 large liner and some swappable pee pads (mini liners) on top in the heavy duty areas. Changed the pee pads every few days and the main liner weekly.

I flip mine over. Most of their wees go into the hay trays plus I have mats on top of the liners under the beds where they spend a lot of time.

i change mine completely,it is a 6x2 .i use pee pads in high traffic areas.use a 2x2 hayloft with bedding and hay.
!!

Thanks for the replies. I may get zorb to use in their pee pad hideys and use mattress protectors for the liners. Shopping tomorrow anyway
