I am thinking of bringing my large wooden cage indoors because I have a colany of 5 pigs in a ferplast double cage but it just isn't big enough - the outdoor cage is 3 story and 5ft x 2ft with two ramps. Indoors I prefer fleece as megazorb gets everywhere... Is it best to use vetted cut to size or get cage liners made to measure? I am on a budget and some rolls on eBay are about £100! :{ eek! I just want something easy to wash really? Any recommendations ?

Hi there, I have used both in the past, and I find fleece cageliners much easier to use, clean and wash. Hay and hair gets stuck right into Vetbed, and doesn't come out even after vigorous brushing, shaking-out and washing, whereas it brushes off much more easily from fleece.

Plus, I found i could only fit one piece of vetbed into the washing machine at a time, but I can get a couple of fleece cageliners in easily.

Hope that helps! Tracey x

hi there
i would go for fleece as well, not had vetbed but have fleece cage liners made by 4piggiepigs and there great, need washing a few times first, have washed mine 5 times before utting them in last sun, we hoover them twice a day and they are still dry and dont smell at all!
we have 2 piggies in each of our two 3 tiered 120cm cages

Thankyou! Yes the vetbed I have in the small cage certainly takes up a lot of space in the washing machine...will look at 4piggiepigs liners Thankyou! Xx
