Hello, I thought I would share some pictures of the cage liner that I made this morning. I'm quite pleased with how they turned out but my stitching is a little wonky in places but I'm sure the piggies won't mind.:) I haven't got piggies yet but I'm busy prepping away. I have done lots of research and decided to house them on fleece and when looking around for liners I thought I would try making them myself as many were quite expensive and I enjoy sewing. I used zorb in the middle floral fleece on the front and yellow fleece for the back. Now I need to prepare the fleece then I need more fleece and zorb to make some more. How many fleece liners do you have?

I love that fleece! Looks like you've done an excellent job for your first attempt! Do you mind telling me where you got it from? :D

I have 6 fleece liners, 3 for Finn and 3 for Lara as they live in separate cages.
I have about 15 fleece pee pads that constantly get changed every 2-3 days.
I also have 6 pouches, 3 for Finn and 3 for Lara. Lara loves her pouches and goes inside the pouch with her little doll. Finn on the other hand has long hair and doesn't get inside the pouches instead uses them like fleece liners. I think because of his long hair, he gets hot and doesn't care for warmth of the pouches.

All of the piggies' fleece items are washed with detergent and soaked in vinegar to get rid of germs. I wash their cages and fleece liners every 6-7 days. I wash their fleece pee pads every 2-3 days. I try to keep their cages as clean as possible to avoid sickness.

I also buy puppy pee pads and line them before fleece liners go on top. On top of fleece liners, I put on the fleece pee pads.

Thank you! I actualy bought the fleece at a shop in Ely called Ely City Cycle Centre. I don’t think they have an online shop but I’m not sure.

Thank you! That’s really helpful I’m definitely going to make some pee pads. :)
