If I were to make a lap pad or a cage liner I have found out that people make them by getting two pieces of fleece and having an absorbent layer sandwiched between. However, what would you have for the absorbent layer? Some people say that mattress protectors work, bed pads, puppy pads and even towels? Wouldn't the towels just go all damp though? Please help!:))
:help:

i think some people use what's called terry towling, some people just use thick wadding that can absorb pee, those kind of things

When i made cage liners used towel, wadding then fleece. If you are in Britain b&m do 3 face cloths for 2 quid. They are 35cm square and really thick.Thought about using these as a layer for lap pads.
