Junior Guinea Pig
i am just looking for ideas as to what is best for Dylan and Arnie, they have been together 2 weeks now Dylan is 5 and arnie is 10 weeks and a typical teenager loves running round. I have a 140 cage with lots of hidey houses and stuff and a 6ft by 4ft wendy house that we put a wire door on so a massive hutch. The problem is they squabble in the 140 as Arnie runs over dylan but in the shed they are best buddies curled up together. I ideally want them in over the winter but am on maternity so if they was outside would still have lots of day light hours to go and play with them.
I could build a bigger cage inside but not as big as the shed, would you buy a hutch snuggle and cover to go in the shed or bring them in and hope the cage i make is big enough? Worried if i bring them in they will have to stay in due to central heating and the difference in temps outside and might start fighting and i wont be able to put them back out.
If i left them out with hutch snuggle and cover could you make a small hole for them to enter and leave cage as they wish or do you have to shut them in cage at night to keep them warm was going to use cage a giant hay house but dont like my babies out really.
Sorry for long post just not sure whats best.
