I'd like some help/advice regarding my Guinea Pigs (Bubble and Squeak) cage.

They've recently moved back indoors for the winter, during the day they have the entire room to roam about in. (It's about 15 by 8 feet) However, my partners Dad in a moment of generosity decided to buy me a new cage for them (The old one was a second hand C&C cage but had passed the point of habitation!) He bought me this...

... Which is just far too small for my two girls. Especially since they hate sharing a bedroom so during the night I'm having to squish in a second Pigloo.

They still have their outdoor run, plus free range use of my conservatory.

What I'd like to ask everyone is, does anyone have experience in expanding small pet shop cages with C&C? There's no option to just get rid of it as it was a gift, but I'd like to build around it! I have room for a two level 3 by 3 C&C. It just somehow has to incorporate this pet shop tat!

Thankyou in advance,

Amanda.
