Okay so me and my mum are decideing to house my two female piggies indoors but are thinking of getting a third piggy so what would be a decent size for three maximum piggies c&c isn't an option right now. Link the websites below thanks again Bex:)

The recommended size for three piggies is 5x2 but if it were me I'd try my hardest to get a 6x2, that way they'll have lots and lots of room to popcorn in.

Hi there,
10.5 square feet is stated as the minimum requirement for 3 piggies.
A run like this could prove to be useful, as they can be made in to different shapes, are cheap and double up as outdoor runs. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/78-RABBI...t_Supplies_Small_Animals&hash=item415e18bd73

I currently use a modified run until I can build a C+C later in the year. It's very similar to this, and requires floor protection underneath the fleece etc: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/57-RABBIT...et_Supplies_Small_Animals&hash=item3cb9982b46

What kind of space are you trying to fit it in? Would a self contained cage be better?

I do not believe any ready made cage is enough for three guinea pigs.

I had this cage when i adopted my neutered boy from Walsall RSPCA and this easily passed the homecheck as being suitable for 3 pigs :)

Ive currently got 2 x liberta 150's joined together for my group of 6 pigs (neutered male and 5 females) and this offers oddles of space for them all (they have just over 10ft x 2.5ft of space - without the two extra mezzanine levels) - they currently have 3 hidey houses, 3 beds, 2 large tunnels, 1 wooden steps (that they like to hide under) 3 food bowls, 2 teddies, various balls/bells to play with inside their cages and still plenty of room for them to run around in.

I would definitely look for a 140 or 150 sized cage - anything else would just be too small

you could get the Ferplast 140 - that is big enough for three guinea pigs. I used it for my trio

Xx
